Question on Classe CAP150 (1 Viewer)

I have a quick question on my Classe CAP 150. I am looking at upgrading the power cord on it. I bought this unit used and the cord I received with has no ground on it.

Is this normal? When I replace the cord, should I also buy one without the ground if it is? What harm will adding a grounded plug do?

If there any Classe Integrated CAP owners out there, please clear this up for me. Thanks.

hmmm....if it's an iec connector on the classe and a 3 prong plug, the only reason i could fathom that the ground is missing on it is that the original owner had a problem with a ground loop hum and just pulled the ground prong out with pliers. can you email the original owner and ask why the ground is missing? i don't see any harm in adding a grounded plug.

I would appreciate if an owner of either the CAP-150 or CAP-151 could verify directly which power cord is included with their unit.

Thanks.
