Are the Toshiba 34x92's (34" Flat-screen direct view) still dirt cheap up there? I thought I remember reading a post that these were like $700-$1000 cheaper in CA than their US counterparts. I might be taking a trip up to Toronto sometime soon, and I might have to pick one up.

You'll have no warranty if you do this, unfortunately.

The Canadian 'street' price is $2999 (about $1950USD), but Toshiba Canada is now out-of-stock, so only dealer inventory remains.
Jeff's right, Toshiba US will not honor the Canadian warranty.
