look and see what you have displayed as
the first two parameters. Also what
audio format you have the receiver set
to at that time. Your reply sincerely

They must have sold more than one,
please feel free to go into your receivers main menu section and under
surround portion see if you have
2ch decoding and 2ch mode as your first
two surround parameters. Thanks.

Most of these don't pertain because I don't use >5.1 system(small listening room IMHO). I will also experiment with DPLII from time to time. I use dvd optical in only, sat optical in only, and analog in only on tv(local ant) and vcr specified in audio input. I have not had any problems other than wanting to mate this with a DVDA/SACD multiplayer.
I will note that I often prefer top listen to source material as the receiver auto-mode picks up DD 2.0, 3.2, etc except for vhs which I strictly prefer in DPLII MOVIE mode. I am, a big fan of cd music in 2.1 mode with my SVS25-31PCi. I hope this helps and feel free to contact me via e-mail.:b
