Does the pre-amp have Bass management for the analog inputs even when using DVD-A and SACD??

Based on my testing and the latest word from Rotel on the matter, the 1066 has the bass-doubling "feature". This is not the same thing as true analog bass-management, because the speakers still get the full-range analog signal; but the same signal is also digitized, low-passed via digial x-over, and sent to the sub. In other words, the 1066 works in the same way as the Outlaw 950 when the analog x-over switch on the back is "off".

Jeff, thank you for your response!! I was playing around with a 2 channel SACD disc and the sub was working, I check the Player and it did say "SACD" so I know it was sacd and NOT cd/redbook!!! I was wondering if it was my imagination or if something was wrong, looks like you answered my question.
