Did you just use the gasket that came attached to the Tumult frame to seal Craig's cabinet, or did you use additional gasket material?

I ran out of gasket material and was curious if I needed to order more.

Not Al, but I have some 12" drivers that use the same rubber gasket and had a pair of 1503s that also had the same rubber gasket. I was able to get a good seal without any additional gasket material. with the 1503's, I used 10-32 bolt/t-nuts and with the 12's, some #10 sheet metal screws.

just make sure that the surface they mount to is flat. surface mounted the 12's onto a finished surface, and flush mounted the 15's onto a primered and sanded surface.

I've got the 1/4" cast frame driver installation kit with some huricane nuts on order from PE to install the beast. This is overkill, but so is the Tumult.

NO I just mounted them out of the box.
These gaskets will have a hard time matching well with other materials to make a good seal.
Not that it can not be done but I would not.
As a Machinist I am fimilar with different gasket materials.
Just use them as is.
My 2 cents

Al
