Question for Panny 53WX42 owners... (1 Viewer)

Well, I finally pulled the trigger and got the 53" Panny. My question is... what now?

I've gone in and done the simple 9-point convergence through the user menu, turned off SVM and done my Avia calibrations.

My question is... have I missed anything, as far as basic set-up functions? Should I now just wait 100 hours of viewing or so and go into the service menu convergence? What about correcting red push?

Any advice from other Panny owners out there?

I don't see red push on my set.

if you want to do 64-point geometry and convergence yourself, you can do it now. you may need to do it again later, but why watch it in lower quality for this period. if you plan to have an ISF calibration, then you should wait.

Yes, enjoy the set for 100-150 hours now. Then I'd do an E Focus, M Focus, and 64 point convergance and you'll be sittin' pretty. Check out www.panny.tv for all the instructions if you haven't seen them already.
