Question for anyone who's ordered games from Amazon (1 Viewer)

Hi! Okay...I, like many on this forum, can't wait to get Morrowind for XBox. That being said, I have a $20 gift certificate from Amazon and would like to use that to purchase the game. I was wondering if Amazon will ship the game so that it will be on my doorstep on the release date or if they'll ship it on the release date. I just don't know if I can wait an extra 3 or 4 days if I can just go to Best Buy and pick it up. Well, I hope you all can advise an anxious and impatient fellow gamer. Thanks for any input.

Amazon are slow for games. Usually, they won't ship until two/three days after the announced "ship date" - games aren't like DVDs and shipped to stores ahead of that 'street date'.

So, if Capcom announced Super Puzzle Fighter's shipping on the tuesday, Amazon won't ship it until the Thursday/Friday - they need to receive the stock from Capcom before they ship it out to you.

Yup, sucks. That's the way it goes. You're getting it for $20 cheaper - well worth a wait in my book.

I have also had the same experience with Amazon & pre-ordered games as Brian.
If you have to have it on its release day don't use Amazon.
