How am I able to hook up an HDTV tuner/receiver and DVD player with component inputs to the projector at the same time?

You need a component switch. You can either go out and spend $200-$300 for a fancy switch,....

    or

you can go get this for $20.

It is for composite video and left/right stereo connections, but it is a mechanical switch with an unlimited bandwidth. Just plug your three component lines into the video and audio RCA connections on the switcher. Supposedly, you should put the Y (green) cable into the video connection, since the Y line carries the full horizontal resolution, and has a higher bandwidth requirment.

I use this for my Z1 and dvd and hd receiver, and there is no picture degredation vs a straight component connection from the source to the projector.
