Here's one of those Windows quirks that annoys me several times every day. Is it possible to set Windows Explorer to a single default view? I like to browse my folders in "Details" view, but it seems to default to "Large Icons." Any way I can change this? Doing so would probably save me 30 or 40 mouse clicks a day.

    Thanks.

    Yup.

Open an Explorer window and set it to exactly how you want it.

Go into Folder Options (location of which varies amongst versions of Windows but you should be able to find it)

Then go to the View tab, click on Reset All Folders, then Like Current Folder immediately afterwards.

Now close the Explorer window, start another and it should be how you want it. If the overall size of the window is wrong, resize it, then hit CTRL+close button.
