Question about WIDE COUNTRY (1 Viewer)

Just became acquainted with the 1962-63 series WIDE COUNTRY.

Does anyone have the complete series DVD set? The reviews of it don't say much about the picture & sound quality. I know it was sourced from 16mm prints and definitely not remastered.

What, really, is the video & audio quality of this DVD release? Perfectly acceptable? Or ...

Definitely acceptable Larry and if I'm saying that most folks would be quite pleased. Sure, I wish it were better but that isn't going to happen.

Thanks! Just wanted to make sure it's not along the lines of the rather poor CHECKMATE release (another non-remastered Universal/Revue series).
