Question about Watts... please help me!!! (1 Viewer)

Ok, tomorrow I will buy the receiver Harman Kardon AVR 225, but the receiver only has a max of 55 Watts per channel, and my speakers have 150 watts.
Is there some problem with that difference?

Do you mean your speakers have powered subs?

Or do you mean they are rated to handle 150w of power?

Either way, the H/K will do fine.

The HK will have more power than most other receivers rated at 100Wx5 or more. As HK doesn't cook the books much, if at all.
Also, the power handling of a speaker is just a recommendation. It won't hurt them to receive more power for short periods of time. And as you'll see from reading that link, most of the time you are well under 32W of input power.
