I just watched the dvd and was very disappointed by the quality does the DTS re-issue use the same transfer?

For a non anamorphic transfer i thought it was decent. But to answer your question no the dts version is different it includes a anamorphic transfer and the quality is better not to mention one of the best dts tracks ever!

FYI: The DTS version has a price cut coming up. I think think it is in June, and the price will drop to $14.99.

For that price, I'll upgrade. :)

Wow, my jaw dropped when I read that. I am a huge x fan. I paid more for the DTS version of Fight the Future than I did for any other single DVD. That said, I was sooooo disappointed in both the audio and video. The entire movie looked way too soft, and the DTS track was bland.
