I love the Nintendo Entertainment System.

However, as an adult I have never liked the console releases of NA (as a kid, I didn't really care).

Here is the American top loader (best) system:

RF only. Terrible.

Here is the top loader from Japan

Much better.

Now a simple pin convertor, and I can play all NES/Famicom games with composite hook up at the very least...but could it actually output S-Video too?

I'm really happy with the Retro Duo from Retro Bit

Who would have thought a clone system for $60 supports S-Video? My NES games have never looked better.

i usually play nes and snes games with emulators. It works like a charm and if you have a controller you can either connect it to your computer or even your phone.
I connected a PS4 and PS5 controller to my phone and connected the phone to the TV via adapter. probably the cheapest option :)
