question about subwoofer placement.

    Hi, currently I have a Teac 8 inch downfiring sub. Its a downfiring sub with a port facing the front. Since my room has a carpet floor, I was wondering if putting a piece of stone tile under the sub would help it sound better. Thanks

    Ricky_K,

    Do a search on "granite" in this section of HTF...you'll come up with some threads that discuss this (as well as putting stone on top of the sub). I attempted to do this awhile back, but was unable to find a piece of granite for sale in the size I was looking for.
