    hi all -

i have a mits ws-65313. i've had it for almost a year, but i absolutely can't stand the glare i'm getting any longer. especially ever since i moved into my new home (with windows on the opposite wall) -- the glare has been driving me nuts.

so i finally bit the bullet and decided to remove the glare shield. while the glare is definitely gone, and i'm happier with the picture quality, i'm a little worried (not much...just a little) about any possible "dangers" to the screen.

i don't really know what the surface of the screen consists of, what could happen if something hits the screen, how to clean it, etc. so, i guess any info or advice would be appreciated!

    thanks,

    ted

I use 1-2 drops of dish detergent in a half gallon of water. Soak a soft cloth (cotton/flannel) in the solution, wring out 'til just moist; clean a small section at a time, dry with the same type of cloth.
