I wasn't able to find this specific details anywhere, but is digital photography now acceptable as proof of ownership after a fire/theft? Remember hearing ways back that it was not and photographs needed to be on 'film'.

Hi Mike,

I have all of my stuff on digital images and digital video backed up on dvdrw. My insurance company said that would be fine if I needed to make a claim. My insurer is RBC (Royal Bank of Canada).

I made sure that my wife was in some of the pictures and video holding the items so they couldn't turn around and say the pictures weren't mine.

cheers,

Zoran

My Allstate guy told me it was fine, just last week. We were discussing additional riders for ... Home Theater.:)
