I'm considering getting the H/K AVR520 next month to replace my H/K AVRMK80II THX receiver. But there's one thing I'm unsure of.
I have a couple dvd's that have Digital Surround(not 5.1) and Digital Stereo only audio. If I'm playing either of these audio options through the digital audio jacks can DPL2 or Logic 7 be applied to them?
I ask because from what I understand from reading the PDF manual, DPL2 or Logic 7 can NOT be applied to DD5.1 or DTS and it appears this includes any digital audio signal received through the digital inputs. Obviously in a 5 speaker setup theres no need to apply DPL2 or Logic 7 to DD5.1 or DTS.
    Any clarifacation is appreciated. [IMG]
Here are a few quotes from the 520 pdf users manual. You can see from the quotes how the answer to this question can be confusing.

Daryl, PCM digital input will indeed allow you to engage DPLII or Logic7.

I should clarify that DPLII is available with a Dolby Digital 2.0 bitstream, but not Logic7.
