I'm ready to rip my CD collection to high quality mp3. CDex gives you a normalize option. How many people take advantage of this option. Does it improve/mess with the quality of the mp3? Does it further compress the range of volume in a song? songs to song? CD to CD? Just curious what your philosophy is if you have had to answer this question already.

Thanks, your right. What's worse is I just did something that I get really irritated at others for doing. I asked a question without searching first.
