Hello everyone, I have the Encore System and a Yamaha RX-V800 receiver. The center, fronts, and surrounds are connected conventionally to the receivers speaker out puts and the sub connected to the low level input of the sub. My question is can I improve the sound by connecting in some other way? The system sounds good after the break-in period, but I'm always looking for improvements.

I actually just got the exact same setup about a week ago (exept with the 12" sub). I read a review where the user said the way to get the best sound is by using the sub's high-level inputs. So that is how I hook mine up. I havn't tried doing a comparision with the low-level input.
Here is a link to that review, just scroll down:http://www.audioreview.com/reviews/S...uct_7257.shtml
Also, here's a good article which discusses why this is a better hookup method in general:

Enjoy!
