I am considering buying a pair of B&W towers. My question is since they come with four posts on the back do I have to biwire them? I really do not want to buy and run MORE speaker wire. Is there a way around this?

Every bi-wirable speaker I've come across has removable shorting bars so that you can use one wire if you wish.

    Vincent:

All speakers with four posts have some type of metal connecting the two positives and two negatives. You don't have to biwire, it's merely an option.

Both posts are correct, I have B&W towers and there is a small metel strip connecting the two sets of posts. I only have one wire going to each speaker.
