Queer Eye for girls?? (1 Viewer)

Anyone else catch the ad for the new Queer Eye for the Straight Girl? There is a new cast and everything. Same general premise as QEFTSG, but now they are working with women instead of men. Might have to check it out.

I think they are too late. The original show has already run out of steam and is not even doing well anymore so I really dont think this will catch lightning twice.

They just overdid it with Queer Eye... too many episodes too fast.

I just looked at the web site for the show (http://www.bravotv.com/Queer_Eye_for_the_Straight_Girl/), and it's 3 guys and 1 girl making over the "Straight Girl"... wtf? That doesn't even make sense, if they want to follow the premise of the other show. Oh well.

It just says she has a daughter, but nothing about husband/partner. So I'd guess no, since they didn't mention it. It did mention that the guys are gay.

EDIT: they write "Enter Honey Labrador — the first female "Queer Eye." so I guess she's lesbian since they call her "Queer". What a name, by the way.

Wow, really? I mean, they're not the Fab five, but I think that the Gal Pals have their assets. Honey Labrador is pretty hot, she's essentially who i want to become.

The hunky helpers were a pretty nice touch/addition.

I'll prob be tuning in next week....

Maybe the new group appeals to a younger crowd. The original guys are cute and witty. The new group seems ... young and obnoxious. No wit, just bad sexual double-entendres. Geez, I stopped twitering over sex puns about 20 years ago.
