Those crazy kids from Pittsburgh are back in Queer As Folk: The Complete Second Season. Streeting on February 25th from Showtime Home Entertainment, this six-disc set features the entire second season presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen and English 2.0 Dolby surround, with plenty of extras including cast and crew commentaries on two episodes, behind-the-scenes footage hosted by Hal Sparks, promo spots, character profiles, an animated still gallery, season three preview, and ROM weblinks. Retail is $119.95.
So it sounds similar in content to the first set (which I own.) I'll be buying the 2nd season :)

Hey Michael! :)
While the first season had it flaws, I think I can count
the number of episodes in Season 2 that I liked on one
hand. Not sure if I'll be picking this up or not.
I think I'll play "wait and see" and see if Season 3
looks like an improvement over season two...if it is,
then, just out of being a "completist" I'll pick up
season 2.
Too bad they don't have a "special feature" where you
can just watch all the scenes with recently out-of-
the-closet Robert Gant, who is by far my favorite part
of the show.
:)

Mark, that violin player Justin hooked up with might be the only reason for me to pick the set up. :)

*um* okay, yes!!! I would have to concur that the
storyline with the violinist, and the violinist himself,
was THE bright spot of the 2nd half of season 2. :D

I could do without the stuff hosted by Hal Sparks though. Not only is he a bad actor but is incredibly unfunny as well.

I've been waiting for this announcement for awhile. I'm as straight as they come, but I have no shame in admitting I'm hopelessly addicted to this show! Feb 25th can't come soon enough!
