Queer As Folk Season 2 DVD Problem (1 Viewer)

I got the Queer As Folk (US) Season 2 DVDs last week, and immediately noticed a problem with episode 11. The colour looks all washed out. It seems to be a problem with the black levels or something. You can easily notice it by playing the opening or end credits of the ep. The background looks grey instead of black. Has anyone else noticed this? I'm pretty sure it's a problem with all the sets, not just mine. Is there some way we can get this problem remedied?

Yes, you're right -- I've watched up to episode 12 so far, and ep 11 IS washed out. Hope it doesn't occur again with the remaining eps, but not sure what can be done about it.

I think the others are fine, Elizabeth. I haven't watched them all, but I checked the opening credits to see if they were black. Maybe if we wrote to Showtime they would produce a replacement disk like FOX is doing with the X-Files? I'm not sure who would be the best person to contact for that.
