Hey, does anyone know if the original version of the Eyes of Stranger video is hidden as an Easter egg or if it is available at all? I much prefer the original as that video was how I became a fan of Queensryche. I was disappointed when I picked up Building Empires recently and they used footage from Operation Livecrime which I already had the dvd of.

Nothing to offer on the DVD, but since this thread will attract Queensryche fans, I thought I would mention that they are on DirecTV all month on a FreeView.

I guess its the Tribes tour? Just saw the first 1/2 hour or so...kind of unimpressed. The audio is good, but the video is some sort of weird-ass sepia tone....guess they were going for style.

I had not heard any of The Tribes stuff, but its is pretty heavy. Sounds a bit less intricate than stuff from Empire, which I am most familiar with.

I will have to make it a point to Tivo the entire show.

If it is indeed the Tribe tour (which it sounds like it is), I'll pass. I picked up the "Art of Live" DVD (live performance of the Tribe tour) and it's horrible compared to tours they have done in the past. In fact, the only two songs that I like on the entire disc are the two final songs that they perform with Dream Theater ("Won't Get Fooled Again" and some other song).

I really wish that they would release a DVD of the Promised Land tour - best concert I've ever seen in my life.

I saw Queensryche when they played here in West Des Moines at the Val Air Ballroom on their Tribe tour. The thing that puzzles me is that most of the stuff they played was from Mindcrime and before whereas the Art of Live DVD is pretty much just newer stuff. It's too bad because I would have bought this disc had it been the same stuff they played when they were here.

P.S. Anyone else see them on this tour?

When they played here, Geoff Tate looked like Morpheus with his bald head, sunglasses, and his long leather coat.
