Generally, how is the video and audio quality of releases by New Yorker Video?
I just finished watching the Canadian release of Price of Milk, a quirky little romantic-comedy fable from New Zealand; it's the kind of odd original film that screams out for a commentary track. But alas, Alliance-Atlantis hasn't included one, eventhough--according to amazon.com-- there is one on the US release, by New Yorker Video.
Also, while the video quality in the AA release is decent enough, the DD2.0 sound mix has problems as sometimes the dialogue is coming from all three front speakers, then it's properly centered, then all sound comes from just the center and so on. I wonder if anyone here has seen the NYV version of Price of Milk, if they could comment?
