Are the component cables that Rogers Cable provides with their HD box worth using? Normally I would replace any free connectors that come with hardware but I quizzed the tech about them and he seemed to believe (whether or not he's correct) that they are decent connnectors and that Rogers pays a bit for each set (I think he said $40). I was considering replacing them but I don't have a huge budget and was probably going to use Radio Shack HD Component Cables that are on sale for $25. I don't want to buy inferior cables though any thoughts? Anyone have any impressions on the cables rogers provides.

Thanks,
Greg

Ah... the age old cable question. I replaced mine with Ultralink somethings... to be honest, I didn't notice a difference. I suspect that unless you have a truly stunning display that does true 1920x1080i, (like an Elite or some such), I doubt you could ever notice the difference.

Best luck,
Martin.
