Hi ya'all: I am interested in some good quality in wall speakers. I read a review about some SA 35 Paradigm. If anyone is familiar with would love some input since they are not available for listening in my area of Palm Beach Florida. Would truely appreciate any suggestions in the middle- upper middle price range ( 1000 + or - per channel)
specific models if possible, coool ;)

I work for an A/V custom install company, and we use Elan, PSB, and Snell as in-walls.

The Snells easily sound the best- much like listening to a box speaker. They have their own 'tub', or enclosure behind them and are deeper than most, but if you have the depth, they do sound good.

If you use a speaker without an enclosure, make sure you put insulation behind and to the sides of the cutout. It sounds much better that way.

The PSB's and upper model Elans sound pretty decent, and cost alot less than the Snells, but if you can afford it, the Snells are great. I don't have the model# handy, but I'll check it out tomorrow...

James: appreciate the suggestions. I've been reading about Martin Logan voyage and B&W 700's and 800's. Any idea as to how the sound quality compares in all of these from best to worst? ;)
