I have no experience with this or type of amp what-so-ever. My question is can a guy split his sub out at the receiver "sub out" and run one cable into the QSC to power a passive sub and the other cable into a regular plate amp sub?

Thanks Brian. I am contemplating a clone or another powered sub and selling my other Vel. Any update for me big guy? Amp ordered? Ports delivery Tue-Wed and black oak has arrived last Fri. We should be good to go soon? Do you think?

Steve, where did you get black oak from? I presume it's in veneer form?

Yes veneer and Brian is building the sub for me.

Actually, it's red oak but we'll be dying it black after the veneer is applied.
