Great new album by the now, one man band - Queens Of The Stone Age.

definitely a step up in musicianship from their sophomore effort - Songs For The Deaf.

Josh seems to be more comfortable with his voice, and he's actually writing and singing melodies.

Still has that ever-so recognizable QOTSA flavor, and 'sound'. Overdriven guitars, perpetuating rhythms, hard driving percussion. But, this is more mature.

I seem to think a lot of artists 'blow their wad' on their sophomore efforts....but not so with QOTSA. This album seems to be their most mature, and refined of all.

    Highly recommended.

Songs For The Deaf was ther 3rd album, so that would make them Juniors. [IMG]

I'm looking forward to their new one.
