This may just show my ignorance, but here goes. When one decides on an alignment, the Q that is chosen affects the frequency response of the output. Therefore, does the frequency response alone determine the "sound" ... by emphasizing different frequencies (upper vs. lower bass)? Or is the frequency response completely separate from the Q. If so, how does the Q manifest itself in the overall sound (i.e. what physical phenomenon is involved) ? I ask, because I have a dual VC driver and I am playing around with Resistive Damped Operation. Thanks for any insight you can provide.
