Folks,

Anyone know a source for the new Denon DVD-5900?

I can order it locally from Magnolia Hi-Fi, but they are pre-selling it at $2000. It doesn't look as though Good Guys will carry it.

Any information is appreciated. Thanks,

Patrick

If you go on Denon's site, you will see $2000 as the price for this unit. www.crutchfield.com is a great site. They allow you to split the payments by 4 on your credit card. I have not had a problem with them. Because this is a new item, I wouldn't bet that you would get a significant deal just yet. You would probably have to wait about 6 months to a year.

Hope that helps,
RF

Patrick, are you sure Goodguys won't sell it? They sell every unit Denon has including the 5803, 2900, 3800, low end receivers, etc.

I too am interested in this unit. My Yamaha S900 just died. I have replaced it with the Pioneer 563A-s as a temporary solution.
Are there any other quality DVD players out there that anyone recommends or knows of reviews on quality units?
Thanks
