Anyone have any information on Dish Networks plans to add a PVR for use with the model 6000 receiver? Sure would be nice to be able to record some programming.

There are no plans to ever add PVR functionality to the 6000. OpenTV isn't even planned (at least on the early models).
They do have a PVR921 in the works to record HDTV. Should be out in about a year.
