PVC Pipe (1 Viewer)

Hi does anyone know if Contact Cement will stick to PVC pipe? I want to veneer some 6" for my speaker stands and am asking before I make a mess of things. If Contact Cement will not stick any idea what might work?

I think it will but never tried, maybe you should ruff the plastic a bit with sand paper to give the contact cement more grip.
