Hi -
I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this question. I need to know of the best place to gather information on equipment needed to transfer vhs home movies to one's hard drive.
Thanks,
Darren

Try www.vcdhelp.com .
However, you are going to want to burn these to a disc in a compressed format. Raw .avi files are HUGE!
Good Luck!

I would suggest you use the program virtual dub to encode the raw avi's or mpegs into DivX. You can get entire dvd at near perfect quality to be under 700 megs with the DivX codec.
