Man, I can't believe there isn't more chatter about this show here. It's a million bucks, folks!
Ok, I'm not so naive that I actually think I'll win the cash but it's fun to dream, ain't it?
Interesting information brought up in the last episode, where none of the people in Push have paid taxes in 17 years? Also, Proofrock's dad "died" ~16 years ago. And the biblical references/flavor...Mary (Magdalene?)
What I've got myself believing is that the whole town is in some sort of witness protection program. The Versailles Casino is a front; they are always "losing" money which is actually the townsfolks income. That Silas Bodnick was trying to throw a monkeywrench in the whole system and well, we know what happened. It all makes sense, really. :D

Last night on Entertainment Tonight they said that Push Nevada is the first show of the new season to be cancelled.

About Push: "...will continue to air until Thursday, Oct. 24. The show, from Ben Affleck's production company, LivePlanet, has an interactive element in which viewers can find clues to where a million-dollar prize is hidden. The final episode will likely contain enough clues for people to locate the money."
So you won't have to wait through a whole season to get the clues needed for the dinero, comprende? :D

Well I had planned on watching this show, but the one-two punch of NBC and CBS Thursday night lineups killed it for me. I only have so much time. I think it would have done better on another night.

Bummer. I bailed halfway through the first episode when all the flashing crap for the contest started to annoy me, so I was hoping to catch it in reruns, especially when I saw Liz Vassey had been added to the cast (which generally says good things about a show's quality but bad things about its longevity). Foolish of me, since I'd picked it as one of the first to die when the schedules were announced in May.

The funny thing, of course, being that the only show I watch Thursday nights is "Without A Trace", so unlike many, I wasn't passing it up in favor of something else.

This is not surprising based on the ratings reports. So does it sound like they're going to try to wrap up the story by 10/24 (that'll be 7 episodes, over half of the originally planned 13) as well as the contest??

Edit: Oops, should have read the ZapIt article first:
We want viewers of 'Push' to see the outcome of Prufrock's investigation, and airing it through the seventh episode will give closure to the storyline.
Excellent.

So, no one else has speculation on what exactly is going on in Push? I'd have thought the members of this board to be a bit more involved, especially considering the following the Artificial Intelligence game-before-the-movie thing went.
How about:
Mary being the daughter of Sloman?
