Bogus e-mail is... well... bogus! The e-mail attached to my account is working and active. No need to fear anything going bouncy-bouncy.

Thanks for everything.

Well...1600 miles is more like 25 hours and if my calcs are correct:

1600 mi x .30/mi x 2 = $960

960 + $10/meal x 6 meals x 2 people x 2 = $1200

1200 + 150 lodging = $1350

Unless it's a vacation, then you'll save more money by buying off the WEB and having them shipped to your door.

The calculations on costs aren't far off... you can figure on $1000 US (after accounting for fuel and depreciation). The costs for lodging may be less, if you negotiate, and at day's end, you need to eat anyway (whether you travel or not).

The other intangible is are you missing work to drive up here?

The trip however is more than worth it insofar as scenery that is available in Alberta, and interior BC. I suggest people look at the UPS (or other) website, and calculate the costs of INSURED shipping versus travel.
