Purchasing Mits WS, Which one? (1 Viewer)

Tomorrow I will be purchasing a new Wide Screen RPTV, I have decided to go with Mits but the question comes down to which one. I am looking at the Platinum Plus (55819) or the Diamond (55908). My only draw back with going with the Diamond is that it cost about $1100 more and I don't know if the extra cash is worth it?
Does anyone have a suggestion on which one?

The 2001 or xxxx7 series Diamonds do calibrate out a little nicer then the Platinums. They have better edge focus especially if you have it calibrated and have the Red and Green astigmatism adjusted.
I don't know if this holds true for the 2002 Diamonds yet.
