I had read that the Seinfeld episode "Puerto Rican Day" isn't shown in syndication because of complaints from Puerto Ricans about the scene where Kramer stomps on a PR flag he accidentally set on fire.

It's showing on Saturday here though, so I was wondering if that was incorrect in the first place and it's always been shown, or if syndication of this episode has resumed?

I hadn't heard about any such promise. I know that NBC promised not to re-air a "Law & Order" episode about a rape committed during the Puerto Rican Day parade.
I never understood the fuss, personally. I thought that Seinfeld's attempt to "apologize" by his whipping out the flag and forced banter with Jennifer Lopez at the Grammys a few years back was an unnecessary sop to political correctness.

I also recently saw the "Susan Dies" episode
in which George's fiance Susan dies from the cheap glue used in their wedding invitations.
As I understand it, this was pulled after the anthrax scare.
