I know that the set does not natively display 720p, since it is not in the service menu or in the manual, but does it scale 720p material up to 1080i? I am wondering as many XBOX games coming out now are supporting 720p, but not 1080i and I am wanting to get the most out of them.

Street Hoops supports 720p, Dragon's Lair is supposed to be in 1080i - other than that I haven't heard of many though.

The television itself, as far as I know, does not "upconvert" 720p to 1080i. Someone correct if I'm wrong. That conversion would happen in your HD box.

Street Hoops is 720p, that is it so far. Dragons Lair will be 1080i.
Tony Hawk 4 will be 720p, and rumor has it NBA 2K3 will be 720p.

I was just wondering if the set was receiveing a 720p signal if it would accept it and downconvert it, or would I just get a blank picture.

I believe you get just a blank picture.

Yup, you'll get nothing at all. The current Toshiba's will accept a 720p input and convert it to 1080i.
