Are the sound levels correct on the current Psycho disc? I ask this because sometimes it sounds like the effects track drowns out the dialogue. One example of this is when Marion first hears "Mother's" voice outside her window. At first, you can hear Mother plainly. But when Marion opens the window, it sounds like the dialogue track is turned down, making it hard to understand the voices. The documentary on the disc has this scene and it isn't like this. It also isn't like this on previous releases that I own.

I just think that it's wrong on this dvd. The sound should get louder when Marion opens the window..not soft. The French track seems correct. I just wish Universal would release their remastered version on its own disc. And hopefully with the sync issues from The Alfred Hitchcock Collection corrected.
