I’m expecting three more Hitchcock titles to be released this year on 4K disc.
Which titles? This is the most current information I could fine
Those three titles!Never mind...
THE BIRDS, VERTIGO and REAR WINDOW are being released in Europe so the U.S. should be next
I still think that particular title will be 4K across the different services. The question is when will it take place?Which means maybe I should buy it on iTunes the next time it’s at $5? Or maybe not considering the Blues Brothers situation.
They don't even have a release date yet.Do they state if it will be the original uncut version as recently released on Blu-Ray in Germany?

Blues Brothers is not available in 4K across the digital services except in MA.Blues Brothers situation?
I was a big proponent of streaming for a bit but I have to admit the COVID slowdown of services have convinced me the best image will alway be physical media
By the way, No purchased films are censored on the MA partners digital platform. That and their latest censorship binge.
IF they release the film as it was originally presented in 1960, then they are admitting tacitly that every home video release has been the edited version, which had to be done either for TV and/or the rerelease (perhaps to get a GP rating). And they've never admitted that heretofore. It would be nice for them to actually acknowledge it.
That and their latest censorship binge.
Another irony is the movie has been available to buy on disc for years and now all of a sudden it's a hot item because HBO Max briefly took it off their service. Just crazy! The irony being that you've never not been able to purchase a movie like Gone with the Wind digitally but good luck buying the disc...
