I drive a truck for a living, which means I leave the house vacant for days at a time. A few years ago, I had a flood inside the house (the toilet water line valve in the master bathroom came apart). What I do since that happened is shut off the water to the house at the street. I’ll have to try to find the valve in the crawl space.

Numerous reviews on Orbit tool on Amazon indicate that the Orbit tool easily breaks. Amazon offers a simmilar USA made tool for about $ 15 with good reviews.
