I have my PS2 hooked up to my AVR with an optical cable and when I put in games like Socom II and XIII that have Dolby Pro Lodgic II symbol on the Disc, am I sopposed to get 6 differnt channels comming in (L/C/R/RS/LS/LFE)? Or is it sopposed to be an 2 channel signal? I dont have any Red and White cables running from my PS2 to my AVR, just an S-Video. My XBOX comes up as with 5.1.

    Thanks

It should show as just a stereo signal, but the receiver should have the Pro Logic II light on, or you could press your PLII button to get the desired effect. The XBOX shows as 5.1 as that is the signal being sent, but with the PS2 its a stereo signal that decodes through PLII into a 5.1 sounding field.
