I saw a small write-up about it in HT magazine. Does anyone use this or something like it? I would really like to improve the picture from my Dish satellite as well as fit the picture better instead of using the stretch mode on my Mits 55805. Thanks for the info.

    Rob:

You might want to consider switching to Directv. Many Mits owners ahve reported the Zenith 1080 Sat Receiver is outstanding interms of it's up conversion of standard sources and it has different formating vs Mits, which many have reported as better than the Mits stretch modes. Search here in HDTV or avs forum's hd hardware section for a lot of info on this unit.

Thanks for the info. I am happy with Dish in general and really do not want to switch services. So I assume the Zenith converts 480i to 480p and properly formats for a 16:9 set?
