pros and cons; trading in a Tosh 52hm84 for jvc HD-ILA 52in? (1 Viewer)

What would be the pros and cons of this move? I have had the 52hm84 for a week and the dithering and slow refresh rate is very distracting. It seems that the 3 chip design of the jvc HD-ILA would cure these problems from everything I have read, but what are the drawbacks to this type of set?

If you found the dithering too noticeable on the 52HM84 then I think you'll prefer D-ILA. The primary drawback is contrast- the blacks won't be as good as DLP but still decent. The pixels on the JVC will be less visible and the picture is smoother.

Thanks for the response. I think I might give this set a shot then. Will the d-ila be good for a dark room? My room is verry dark.
