    Two problems....

First, I managed to add BUTTONS with BITMAPS of
specific channels to my Pronto CCF layout using
Pronto Edit 4. Not sure why, but I entered the
same bitmap for each of the 2 ACTIVE and INACTIVE
    windows in the logo fields.

Everything shows up nicely within ProntoEdit, but
when I downloaded the CCF to my Pronto, there were
NO IMAGES showing up. Just totally blank fields.

Did I forget to check something in order to
    activate those image files?

    -----------------------

    Next....

Any way I can program the new channel buttons
with the number locations (such as HBO 501)
within ProntoEdit? In other words, assign #501
(channel numbers) to the HBO image?

If so, can someone lay out specific instructions
    to do so?

    Thanks so much in advance

    Ron,
Buttons that have no command assigned or learned to them are invisible to the Pronto. If you haven't assigned the numbers like you stated in the second half of your post, this is more than likely your problem.

For HBO #501 (assuming the basic functions for the DBS is already programmed in), you got to button properties and select Alias > Device(DBS?) > 5. Next you choose Alias > Device > 0. Then select Alias > Device > 1. Lastly, select Alias > Device > Enter to make it tune to the station right away. In the white command box, you should now have 4 lines of commands. The next thing is to try it, because your box probably needs a delay between each button press so your box will cnot skip commands. Luckily, you can add those later and re-arrange the commands in the white box just by dragging them up or down.

    Worked like a charm!

    I can't thank you enough.
