pronto 1000 and Sony Da4es remote (1 Viewer)

do any of you guys know how to teach the pronto, the different sound fields/inputs w/out using a scrolling wheel, I can't seem to get it right. Any one had sucess with this remote??

I don't have this receiver, but with an older model it was necessary to do the learning in another room, away from the receiver. Many Sony's use two-way communication, the return signal from the receiver messes up the learning process. On some models you can turn two-way communications off which also helps.
