i'm planning to convert one of the bedroom to a dedicated theater room using a front projection. i know how this equipment cost so i was thinking of doing an online purchase. the question is will the local dealers or installers do an install for me if i didn't buy it from them. so far one has told me they will not because they like to be involved with the whole process. any suggstions?

Digital projectors are easy enough to install yourself without a third party. Any questions you have on the process can be answered here.

Do it yourself unless what you have in mind is a crt projector.

Even a CRT isn't that bad, just takes a lot more time to get familiar with it. Not more beer thou, you want to get the picture clear.
