Projector vs. Rear Projection (1 Viewer)

How big of a room do you kneed for a lcd projector? Could you use a bedroom? Also, how much of a difference is it between something like a lcd projector and a rear projection tv? I have no idea what to get. I currently have a 27" tv. I am going to get one sometime in the future. I just thought I would start gaining information now. Thanks for your time.

You can use a projector in a small space with no problems; the issues you may run into are light control (can you make the room completely dark?) and mounting the projector. My HT is actually in the second bedroom of my apartment, and the projector works beautifully even in that small space.
