    Hello,
I just got a Sony VPL-W400Q LCD projector and now need a screen, I was looking at a 120" DA- matt or MAT- white, would that be ok? I can control the lighting from off to real bright.I was also going to put curtains that can adjust from top to bottom and side to side,Since I can't afford an electric screen with dual masking. Would that be the only way I can control the black bars when viewing different aspect ratios? Thank You...

The biggest limitation with that projector is its brightness, 400 lumens. Even in a darkened room, a 120" D-mat would be too dark. I would go with a smaller screen, perhaps 100" with a higher gain. I don't have experience with that projector, but there is a whole forum here dedicated to that projector:
